| Stoneware Clay, 24" x 24" x 22" (HxWxL) |
A young maiden of the Quileute captures a bird of many colors. Her father is delighted that she now has a wonderful dowry of colorful feathers (a very desirable trade item). The girl however decides to give the feathers to all the birds so that each might have a colorful feather. She believed that your wealth should be determined by not what you owned but what you gave.
